About P. Garlick Peter Garlick set up 'P. Garlick Decorating' back in 1980, after learning the trade for several years working for a small local builder. At first 'P. Garlick Decorating' survived doing sub contract work mainly for builders undertaking new builds, refurbishment’s, offices and factories. Eventually Peter started to get work for himself through word of mouth, cutting out the middle man. The amount of work has continued to grow to the point where now 95% of P. Garlick's work is domestic and commercial, with small builders making up the rest. Peter has worked on the show houses at eight Ideal Home Exhibitions at Earls Court and Birmingham's NEC Between 1985 and 1995. He has obtained several Qualifications in Decorative Paint finishes and has carried out various effects for customers over the years. Peters Qualifications are as follows:
